Rob Botterell

MLA for Saanich North and the Islands

Rob has dedicated his career to fighting for social and economic justice and environmental protection. His previous work included representing First Nations governments in private law for over 25 years, a financial comptroller for a major Canadian bank, a public servant in B.C.’s Ministry of Finance and led the team responsible for developing B.C.’s Freedom of Information Law. In 2024 he became the first person to succeed a Green MLA in Canada. Rob has lived on the Saanich peninsula for many years, now calling Pender Island home.
